What this can and cannot tell you. It is a self-assessment, so it reports what you believe about your own operation. It is not an audit and it will not catch the gap between what a system is meant to capture and what it actually holds, which in our experience is where most of the surprise lives. Treat a low score as a place to go and look, not as a finding.
Answer honestly rather than aspirationally. A flattering score is no use to anyone.

We have not told you how you compare to anyone else, because there is no honest number to compare you to. No usable operational benchmark exists for component and engine repair stations. We looked.
